Lo sviluppatore ha spiegato di aver realizzato l'app ricorrendo alla piattaforma Unity passando a TrueDepth un'immagine statica dello sfondo. La fotocamera di Apple riconosce poi il contorno del volto e sostituisce il viso con gli elementi che compongono lo sfondo, seguendo i movimenti dell'utente.
